BRAIN DETOX. "Since ancient times, human beings have know that the accumulation of certain toxins in the body is an important cause of disease, aging and death......As humanity improves its understanding of the body and how to heal it, I believe detoxification will once again take its place as a major requirement to heal the body and the brain." Dr. Wilson

The Leaking Skylight

The glory of spending the night

In a beautiful place

And when I looked up

There was an elegant skylight

With a magnificant tower in the center

The hub of many inticate pieces that joined the cache

Shining, glistening in the light of day....

Some seams near the hub

That joined one section to the next

Were leaking through their cracks

Liguid was pouring down into the room

One crack was particular bad

Maneovering drinking glasses

I captured the flowing liquid-like molasses

An Analyst Viewpoint:

The skylight in the dream relates to the head. This skylight is leaking through its seams, while the dreamer scrambles to catch the leaking liquid so it doesn't make a mess in the beautiful accomodations that she is staying in (ie her body). Detoxification is a major focus of Nutritional Balancing with at least 24 toxic metals that have the ability to release at the same time. The dietary regime eliminates the buildup of toxins from bad habits and/or hazardous substances. The body can become a self-cleaning system if it is given the right tools....a healthy personalized diet based on your Hair Analysis, adequate fluids, exercise, sleep.... etc.

An article by Meeri Kim in the Washington Post states that while we are asleep our brains are busy taking out the trash. It has also been discovered the glymphatic system is the network that drains waste from the brain by.... "circulating cerebrospinal fluid throughout the brain tissue and flushing any resulting waste into the bloodstream, which then carries it to the liver for detoxification".

Dr Mercola says:

According to Dr. Nedergaard:

"The brain only has limited energy at its disposal and it appears that it must choose between two different functional states - awake and aware or asleep and cleaning up. You can think of it like having a house party. You can either entertain the guests or clean up the house, but you can't really do both at the same time.

....these finding have significant implications for treating "dirty brain" disease like Alxheimer's. Understanding precisely how and when the brain activate the glymphatic system and clears waste is a critical first step effors to potentially modulate this system and make it work more efficiently"
